The stone pit wall and the Schlicker Zinnen are a 2578 m high rock massif in the Stubai Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol . The slips battlements are several pinnacles north of the quarry wall.

Location and surroundings

The rock massif is located in the Kalkkögeln in the Stubai Valley , southwest of Innsbruck . The neighboring summit is the Steingrubenkogel (2633 m) in the southwest and the Hochtennspitze (2549 m) in the northeast . From the west, the Schlicker Zinnen are clearly distinguishable from the stone pit wall to the south. However , the stone pit wall is pushed forward from the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte .

Ascent

There is no official via ferrata or route to the top of the massif. The ascent of the summit is usually combined with crossing the rock massif from the Hochtennscharte north of the Schlicker Zinnen to the notch south of the stone pit wall.
