He studied at the Philosophical-Theological University of the White Fathers in Trier and was ordained a priest in Trier Cathedral in 1931 . During his time in Ulm, Father Eisele had a great influence on a group of high school students who later became known as "Ulm high school graduates" because they sympathized with the group around the Scholl siblings and distributed the White Rose leaflets in Stuttgart. Since regular religious instruction in school rooms had been banned in 1941, they came to Father Eisele, who offered voluntary religious instruction in the merchant's home and who was also critical of National Socialism. He taught z. B. with texts by Thomas von Aquin and discussed critical texts such as B. the sermons directed against Nazi euthanasia by the Münster bishop, Clemens August Graf von Galen . In his comprehensive article on the resistance of the "Ulm high school graduates" Michael Kuckenburg writes:

"The most important reference person for her was Adolf Eisele (1905-1978), Father of the Missionary Order of the“ White Fathers ”: He gave voluntary religious instruction in the merchant's home (regular classrooms were banned in 1941). Eisele worked in two ways: He discussed with them Texts critical to young people during the Nazi era, e.g. Thomas Aquinas; he was particularly impressed by his personality, his determination and his courage: 'Pater Eisele was one of the most essential people I have ever met' (Heinz Brenner "In the midst of the victories, we received the antidote from Eisele" (Franz Müller). "Our distance from the system of that time grew out of this religious attitude" (Walter Hetzel). "

After the war, Adolf Eisele worked as a teacher and leader in the order's own schools and dormitories in Großkrotzenburg, Rietberg and Amberg . In 1966 he went to the high school for the Ostpriesthilfe in Königstein im Taunus . From 1969 he performed pastoral services in the diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart , most recently in the parish of Neufra . Father Eisele died in Riedlingen in 1978 and is buried in Haigerloch.
