Adolf Potthoff
Adolf Potthoff (born February 14, 1897 in Herne , Westphalia , † May 19, 1969 in Niš , Yugoslavia ) was a German journalist , educator and writer .
Life
Adolf Potthoff studied at the University of Münster ; He completed these studies in 1921 with the promotion of Doctor of Philosophy from. He then worked as a journalist for newspapers in Buer and Gelsenkirchen . From 1925 Potthoff worked as a high school teacher in Dortmund and Hildesheim . Most recently he lived as a freelance writer in Konstanz . He was killed in an accident on his way back from Greece .
Adolf Potthoff wrote mainly poems and plays . He also edited works by Paul Ernst and translated from French , Spanish , Italian and Dutch .
