Adolf Treichel

Adolf Otto Treichel (born October 26, 1869 in Riesenburg , West Prussia , † April 1, 1926 in Danzig ) was a German politician and President of the People's Day of the Free City of Danzig (1921-1923 and 1924-1926).

Life

Treichel attended the municipal high school in Elbing and studied in Königsberg , where he also received his doctorate. From 1897 to 1900 he was a teacher at the German Real and Higher Girls School in Constantinople . In October 1900 he was employed at the Gdansk City High School. In 1910 Treichel was appointed high school professor and from 1921 to 1926 he was rector there . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Königsberg fraternity in 1890 .

Treichel was married and had at least one son.
