Adolfo Roque Esteban Arana
Adolfo Roque Esteban Arana (born September 3, 1916 in Buenos Aires , † January 8, 2003 ) was Bishop of Río Cuarto .
Life
Adolfo Roque Esteban Arana was ordained a priest on September 23, 1944 . Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Santa Rosa on February 23, 1973, and he was instituted on April 7 of the same year.
The Archbishop of Buenos Aires and professor of Byzantine faithful in Argentina , Antonio Cardinal Caggiano , ordained him on 1 April of the same year Bishop ; Co- consecrators were Juan Carlos Aramburu , Coadjutor Archbishop of Buenos Aires, and Manuel Menéndez , Bishop of San Martín .
The Pope appointed him Bishop of Río Cuarto on August 6, 1984, and he was appointed to office on August 26 of the same year. On May 4, 2002, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
