Adolfo Zon Pereira
Adolfo Zon Pereira SX (born January 23, 1956 in Ourense , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Alto Solimões .
Life
Adolfo Zon Pereira entered the congregation of the Xaverian Missionaries and made his profession on October 2, 1982 . He received on 21 June 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 27 August 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to Coadjutor Bishop of Alto Solimões . The Bishop of Santarém , Flávio Giovenale SDB , donated him episcopal ordination on November 8th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Alberto Taveira Corrêa , Archbishop of Belém do Pará , and José Maria Chaves dos Reis , Bishop of Abaetetuba .
With the age-related resignation of Evangelista Alcimar Caldas Magalhães on May 20, 2015, he succeeded him as Bishop of Alto Solimões.
