Adolphe-Marie Hardy

Adolphe-Marie Gustave Hardy (born July 23, 1920 in Nantes , † August 9, 2011 in Aubagne , Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur ) was a French clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Beauvais .

Life

Adolphe-Marie Hardy was ordained a priest on March 31, 1945 . He was pastor in Paris , assistant to Archbishop Jacques Ménager and pastor in Reims and Nantes.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Beauvais on April 13, 1985 . The Archbishop of Paris , Jean-Marie Cardinal Lustiger , donated him episcopal ordination on May 12th of the same year in the cathedral of Beauvais ; Co- consecrators were Jacques Ménager , Archbishop of Reims , and Émile Marcus PSS , Bishop of Nantes .

On May 13, 1995, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
