Escalated eviction

In 2014 Adrian Sorge founded the pseudo-state “Ur” on his property and that of his in-laws in Reuden , thereby adopting the ideology of the Reich Citizens ' Movement. The cause itself denies, however, to be a "citizen of the Reich". Because he refused to comply with a large number of government and private payment requests totaling around 150,000 euros, his property was foreclosed . He did not follow the repeated requests to vacate the site. Therefore, the new owner applied to the competent local court for eviction .

As a result, the evacuation of the property was scheduled by a bailiff . A week before the eviction, causing him posted a video on the Internet in which he disclosed the bailiff's personal information and threatened to "slaughter anyone" who dared to enter his state for the purpose of eviction. He was then under police protection .

After a first evacuation attempt failed the day before because dozens of sympathizers and family members had gathered on the property, the Saxony-Anhalt police provided administrative assistance to the enforcement officers and moved to Reuden on August 25, 2016 with two hundred teams, including a special task force . During the eviction there was an exchange of fire. Adrian Sorge shot an officer in the face with a revolver. The bullet ricocheted off his helmet visor and injured the policeman in the neck. The cause was shot down and seriously injured, flown to the Leipzig University Hospital . According to a police spokeswoman, police officers were pelted with cobblestones, among other things . One of his supporters at the time was Wolfgang P., who shot a SEK officer to death a little later during a police operation in his house in Georgensgmünd .
