biography

Jelinkova was born in the Czech Republic and grew up in the Netherlands, where she had moved with her family. She later graduated from the ski school in Bad Gastein, Austria . As a 15-year-old, she began to participate in FIS races in November 2010 , where she celebrated her first victory at this level in January 2012. At the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck , which took place in the same month , she won the bronze medal in combination . She made her debut in the World Cup on December 16, 2012 at the Giant Slalom in Courchevel , where she did not finish. At the 2013 World Championships she reached 40th place in the giant slalom.

Jelinkova made it into the points of the European Cup for the first time in February 2014, but she could hardly make any significant progress in the following two years. This began to change in the 2016/17 season, when she regularly won FIS races, finished 30th in slalom at the 2017 World Championships and immediately took a podium place in her first appearance in the Nor-Am Cup . Jelinkova won her first World Cup points on November 25, 2017 with 25th place in the giant slalom in Killington . She then took part in seven races of the Nor-Am Cup, in which she won once and came second four times.
