Adriano Tomasi Travaglia OFM (born November 1, 1939 in Gardolo di Mezzo-Meano , Italy ) is an Italian religious and emeritus Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Lima .

Life

Adriano Tomasi Travaglia joined the religious order of the Franciscans and received on 28 June 1964, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 16, 2002 Pope John Paul II named him titular bishop of Obbi and appointed him auxiliary bishop in Lima . The Archbishop of Lima, Juan Luis Cardinal Cipriani Thorne , donated him episcopal ordination on April 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Peru , Archbishop Rino Passigato , and the Archbishop of Cuzco , Alcides Mendoza Castro .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 13, 2019.
