Aero Cóndor Perú is a Peruvian airline based in Lima .
history
The airline was founded in 1975. In June 2008, by order of the Peruvian Ministry of Transport, Aero Cóndor Perú had to shut down its Boeing 737-200 as a result of several safety-related incidents and has not been allowed to operate any scheduled flights with it since then. The company then specialized in freight transport as well as charter and sightseeing flights. Since 2008 no more cargo flights have been operated and mainly acts as a tour operator.

Currently, Aero Cóndor Perú does not offer any scheduled connections, but only sightseeing and charter flights, for example over the Nazca Lines . Until 2008, the company operated domestic flights to Arequipa , Ayacucho , Cuzco , Cajamarca , Iquitos , Pto. Maldonado , Pucallpa , Piura , Tumbes , Tacna , Chiclayo , Juliaca and Trujillo as well as air ambulance services. In addition to Lima, another base is the Aeropuerto Internacional Alejandro Velasco Astete in Cusco .
