The Agul ( Russian Агу́л ) is a 347 km long right tributary of the Kan , a right tributary of the Yenisei , in the Irkutsk Oblast and in the Krasnoyarsk Region in southern Siberia .

The Agul rises on the northern flank of the Agulsk Mountains (Агульских Белков) in Eastern Sayan . It flows through Lake Agulskoje and continues its course in a predominantly north-north-westerly direction through the foothills north of the Sajan Mountains. The Agul cuts through the mountains and flows through it in a narrow valley. At river kilometer 15 the kungus meets the river on the left. The mouth of the Agul River is 50 km south of Kansk .

The Agul drains an area of ​​11,600 km². The mean discharge at the Petropawlowka gauge , 10 km above the mouth, is 136 m³ / s.
