Agustín de Ugarte y Sarabia
Agustín de Ugarte y Sarabia († December 6, 1650 in Quito , Ecuador ) was a Roman Catholic bishop in Ecuador, Guatemala , Mexico, and Peru .
On December 3, 1629 he was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Chiapas (Ciudad Real de Chiapas) (Mexico), and exactly one year later, on December 2, 1630 , he became Bishop of the Diocese of Guatemala . There he worked for the Catholic Church for eleven years until he became bishop of the diocese of Arequipa (Peru) in 1641 . Seven years later in 1648 he moved to the diocese of Quito (Ecuador), where he died on December 6, 1650.
