Akseki is a Turkish city in the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Antalya and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Antalya (metropolitan municipality / metropolitan province ) created in 1993 . The city is 154 km from the center of the city of Antalya , surrounded by green pine forests , in the middle of the Taurus Mountains .

According to the city logo, the place received the status of a Belediye (municipality) in 1864 .
