Kaş is a district in the Turkish province of Antalya and, together with the city of Kaş, is also part of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Antalya (metropolitan municipality / metropolitan province ) on the Turkish Riviera, created in 1993 . It is bordered by Fethiye in the west, Elmalı in the northwest and Finike and Demre in the east . The Çayboğazı dam is located in the north of the district .

climate

Kaş has a warm, dry climate that favors the production of oranges , lemons , bananas and almonds . In addition, honey is produced. In addition to agriculture, tourism is playing an increasingly important role in Kaş.

Tourist destinations

The historical sites of Kekova , Simena and Patara are located in Kaş County . Other excursion destinations are the Blue Grotto , the 12 kilometer long sandy beach of Patara and Kaputaş Beach .
