Aksu ( Turkish for white water ) is a city in the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Antalya and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Antalya (metropolitan municipality / metropolitan province ) created in 1993 .

The district is located northeast of the provincial capital and borders Serik to the east, Döşemealtı , Kepez and Muratpaşa to the west, Burdur province to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. The D-400 road following the Mediterranean coast and the D-685, the connecting road from Antalya to Isparta, run through the district. The river of the same name, Aksu Çayı (Mediterranean), crosses the district from north to south .

Since a regional reform in 2014, the municipality has been identical to the district in terms of area and population, all former Köy (villages) and Belediye (municipalities) of the district became Mahalla (districts) of the city.

According to the city logo, Aksu received the status of a Belediye (municipality) in 2009 .
