Albert Ash

Friedrich Wilhelm Albert Asche (born June 11, 1869 in Hanover ; † after 1958 ) was a German school principal , local history researcher , cartographer and photographer .

Life

Friedrich Wilhelm Albert Asche was born in 1869 at Bäckerstraße 10 in Hanover as the son of Wilhelm Asche. This was the time of the Kingdom of Hanover at the Battle of Langensalza competition and was initially a while as a tool blacksmith after his return from 1866 of the tool factory of Georg Egestorff , before he then 36 years as a foreman at the at the water tower on the Linden Berg worked. For centuries, Asche's ancestors on his father's side lived in the Calenberger Land as farmers and village blacksmiths in Seelze and Luthe .

Albert Asche first attended the Citizens' School II in Hanover, then the Higher Citizens School I at Clevertor . After graduating from school, he first went to “ the preparation ” and then attended the Hanover teachers' seminar for three years . He then worked for a year as a second teacher, working as a “young teacher” in Bodenfelde on the Weser . and already began to explore his homeland during this time . He gradually supplemented his drawings of the “urgently needed home maps” with a local school collection and began to spread word and writing about the nearby home.

In 1891 Asche was initially appointed to the Boys 'Citizens' School I in Linden by the Linden mayor and later governor Georg Lichtenberg .

From 1893 Asche worked in numerous professional and cultural associations such as the Heimatbund Lower Saxony . He worked as chairman of the association for the promotion of drawing lessons, and was last made an honorary member of the Gabelsberg Steonographs Association in 1863 .

Asche ended his 42-year school career at the time of the Weimar Republic , from 1926 to 1932 as principal at the boys' school in Salzmannstrasse.

In the 1920s, the teacher Albert Asche lived, just like the architect of the same name, Albert Asche , according to the address book for Hanover for the year 1925 on the same Bel Etage at Altenstraße 1 or on the ground floor .

Asche became known through his research and publications around his home city of Hanover, especially in the field of cartography and the mediation of local history. For his services he was
