Albert Heuwieser

Albert Heuwieser (born October 10, 1872 in Eggenfelden , † September 7, 1947 in Munich ) was a German judge in Bavaria.

Life

From January 1, 1891, Heuwieser served as a one-year volunteer in the infantry of the Bavarian Army . Simultaneously studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1892 he was reciprocated in the Corps Bavaria Munich , in 1898 he passed state bankruptcy . On November 1, 1902, he became a district judge in Bad Kissingen , and on November 16, 1912, he became the second public prosecutor in Nuremberg . At the beginning of the First World War, he was called up to the Bavarian Landsturm Infantry Battalion Bamberg and joined the war front in March 1915. In the November Revolution, on November 18, 1918, he was released as a lieutenant in the reserve. Since May 1920, Heuwieser was a district judge and since January 1922 a senior judge at the district court in Nuremberg . First public prosecutor in Fürth since November 16, 1924, he was appointed Regional Court Director in Nuremberg on October 1, 1930, and President of the Amberg Regional Court on May 1, 1933 . On November 1, 1933, he finally became President of the Bamberg Higher Regional Court . When he reached the age limit in October 1938, he refused to “temporarily continue” with the official business. He lived in Munich during the Second World War . Denazification was discontinued on April 28, 1947, with full pension payments.
