Albert von Nettelbladt

Baron Wilhelm Christian Justus Albert Josef von Nettelbladt (born March 1, 1812 in Rostock , † January 1, 1879 in Jasnitz ( Picher )) was a German forest official and head of the court hunting department in Mecklenburg-Schwerin .

Life

Albert von Nettelbladt came from the baronial branch of the originally Rostock family Nettelbladt and was the eldest son of the Higher Appeal Court Councilor Christian Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Nettelbladt from his second marriage to Johanna Caroline, born in 1805. von Stein (1784–1812). Rudolf von Nettelbladt was his half-brother.

He studied forestry and became a member of the Corps Vandalia Rostock in 1827 . In 1833 he joined the forestry service of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin as a hunting squire . In 1851 he became a forester in Testorf and in 1857 received the Forest Inspectorate in Wittenburg , based in Jasnitz, after he had been promoted to forester in 1853 and to chief forester in 1856 .

In Jasnitz he was responsible for the huge grand-ducal game park of 6,000 hectares , fenced in as a game gate , and the Schwerin court's company hunts, in which Kaiser Wilhelm I also took part several times. The wildlife park was Jasnitz since 1876 via a specially for Grand Duke . Friedrich Franz II , built by Mecklenburg Fürstenbahnhof , the Jasnitz station , next to the railway network of Berlin-Hamburg Railway connected.

On February 22, 1877 he was promoted to chief hunter and head of the court hunting department.

On January 6, 1879, he was buried in the family grave in the Ludwigslust cemetery under the personal guidance of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II and Duke Wilhelm zu Mecklenburg .

On 29 June 1849 he had in Parchim , born Bertha Charlotte Georgine Susanna Luise Sophie Hofmann (1820–1843) married. The couple had a son, Hugo (1841–1876), who also became a forest officer. His son Albert (* 1871 in Zapel ) embarked on an officer career and was a colonel at the end of the First World War.
