Alberto Setele

Alberto Setele (born November 22, 1935 in Zavala , Mozambique , † September 7, 2006 ) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Inhambane .

Life

Alberto Setele was ordained a priest on August 9, 1964 . On November 20, 1975 he was appointed by Pope Paul VI. appointed Bishop of Inhambane . The Archbishop of Maputo Alexandre José Maria dos Santos OFM consecrated him on February 8, 1976 as bishop; Co- consecrators were Ernesto Gonçalves da Costa OFM, Bishop of Beira and Januário Machaze Nhangumbe , Bishop of Porto Amélia .

He died on September 7, 2006 at the age of 70.
