Alberto Trevisan

Alberto Trevisan SAC (born June 22, 1916 in Novo Treviso , Santa Catarina , † March 19, 1998 ) was a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro .

Life

Alberto Trevisan joined the Congregation of the Pallottine in and received on 27 December 1942, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 25, 1964, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Centuriones and auxiliary bishop in the Brazilian Military Ordinariate . The military archbishop of Brazil, José Newton de Almeida Baptista , donated him episcopal ordination on May 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Santa Maria , Luís Victor Sartori , and the Bishop of Frederico Westphalen , João Aloysio Hoffmann .

In 1966 Paul VI appointed him. to the auxiliary bishop in São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro. Alberto Trevisan resigned on March 31, 1973 as auxiliary bishop in São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro.
