Albrecht Wilhelm Theophil von Zitzewitz (born October 18, 1848 in Bornzin , Stolp district ; † August 5, 1917 in Turzig , Rummelsburg district ) was a Prussian landowner and politician .

He came from the old behind Pomeranian noble family Zitzewitz and was the son of the landowner William Theophil von Zitzewitz (1817-1892), lord of the manor on large and small Krien , Turzig, Gesiffzig and Old and New Bornzin, and Hedwig von Puttkamer (1823- 1897).

Zitzewitz married on June 8, 1882 on Gut Klein Santersleben Luise von Veltheim (* March 21, 1862 on Gut Klein Santersleben; † August 16, 1941 on Gut Turzig), the daughter of the landowner Otto von Veltheim , landlord on Veltheimsburg and others, and the Luise from the Asseburg .

Life

Zitzewitz was a royal Prussian major , landlord of Turzig and Gesifzig in the Rummelsburg district and legal knight of the Order of St. John .

On the occasion of the celebration of the 600 years of ownership of the family estates located in the Stolpe and Wipper rivers , Kaiser Wilhelm II granted the von Zitzewitz family the right to present the Prussian mansion on October 16, 1900 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe . At the presentation of the association of the von Zitzewitz family , Albrecht von Zitzewitz was appointed a member of the Prussian mansion for life in 1902.
