Aldo Signoretti

Aldo Signoretti (* 1953 / 54 ) is an Italian hairdresser .

He has worked in this profession in the film industry since the early 1970s. He was trained by Manlio Rocchetti and in collaboration with Piero Tosi on the sets of Luchino Visconti .

Signoretti has been nominated three times for an Oscar for his work . The first time together with Maurizio Silvi for the film Moulin Rouge in the category Best Make-up 2002. Another time in 2007 together with Vittorio Sodano for Apocalypto . A third nomination earned him his work on Il Divo 2010, also with Sodano. Signoretti and Sodano won the David di Donatello 2009 in the categories of best hairstyling and best make-up, respectively , for the same film . The following year Signoretti was able to repeat this success with Die Fahne der Freiheit .
