Aleh Yurevich Ljawonzjeu ( Belarusian Алег Юр'евіч Лявонцьеў , Russian Олег Юрьевич Леонтьев / Oleg Yuryevich Leontiev * 15. November 1970 in Saratov , Russian SFSR ) is a former Belarusian - Russian hockey player . Most recently, he was assistant coach at Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg between 2015 and October 2016 .
Career
Aleh Ljawonzjeu began his career as a hockey player at HK Dinamo Minsk (later Tiwali Minsk), for whose professional team he was active from 1989 to 1994 in the top Soviet league and later Russian Super League . Then the defender moved for three years to his league rivals Kristall Saratow from his hometown, where he ended the 1995/96 season at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . The Belarusian international changed to this completely in the summer of 1997. In four seasons he won the Russian championship twice with Metallurg (1999 and 2001), as well as the European Hockey League in 1999 and 2000 at European level . In addition, he was with Magnitogorsk in the 1997/98 season cup winner and runner-up.
For the 2001/02 season Lyawonzjeu signed with Metallurg Novokuznetsk . He then spent a year and a half at SKA Saint Petersburg and his ex-club Kristall Saratow, which had since been relegated to the second-rate Wysschaja Liga . Towards the end of the 2004/05 season, the left shooter moved for the first time to a club from the Belarusian extra league . In this he played a season for the HK Chimwolokno Mahiljou before he was committed in the course of the 2005/06 season from the top club HK Junost Minsk . With the capital city he won the championship in 2006 and 2009 , as well as the IIHF Continental Cup in the 2006/07 season . During the 2009/10 season he moved within the Belarusian extra league to Metallurg Shlobin , where he ended his career at the end of the season.
International
For Belarus , Ljawonzjeu took part in the C World Championships in 1994 and the A World Championships in 1999 , 2007 and 2008 .
As a trainer
In 2010 Lyawonzjeu started his first coaching position at Kristall Saratow from the Wysschaja Hockey League . From 2013 he was in charge of Ishstal Izhevsk as assistant coach to Andrei Razin , before he and Andrei Razin were hired by Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg for the 2015/16 season . In October the entire Awtomobilist coaching staff was replaced.
