Alejandro Carbonell (born January 16, 1994 in Jaca ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been on the ice at Sports de Glace Annecy in the French Division 1 since 2017 .
Career
Alejandro Carbonell began his career as a hockey player in the youth team of the CH Jaca , for whose first team he made his debut in the Spanish Super League in the 2011/12 season . With Jaca he became Spanish champion and cup winner straight away in his rookie year . In 2013 he was able to win the cup competition with his home club, while in 2015 he won the championship again. At the turn of the year 2015/16 he moved to France, where he was used for the Gap Hockey Club in both the French U22 league and the Ligue Magnus . For the 2016/17 season he returned to CH Jaca, but after one season he moved again to France, where he was on the ice for Sports de Glace Annecy in Division 1 , the second highest division, with the club from Savoy but in 2018 as Bottom of the table had to be relegated.
International
For Spain , Brabo took part in the junior division in the U18 junior world championships in division II in 2011 and 2012 and in the U20 junior world championships in division II in 2012 , 2013 and 2014 , when he was named the best striker of the tournament. At the U18 World Cup in 2012, he led the Spanish team onto the ice as captain.
In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division II in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
