Stołowski, who started for Podhale Nowy Targ , made his international debut on the Beskydy Tour in Szczyrk on January 28, 1972, but ended up only in 59th place after jumps on 69.0 and 59.5 meters. It had its strongest winter in the 1974/75 season, in which it first started in the Four Hills Tournament .
