Aleksandr Lavrinovič (born March 22, 1982 ) is a Lithuanian biathlete .
Aleksandr Lavrinovič competed in his first international races as part of the 1999 World Junior Championships in Pokljuka , where he finished 79th in both the individual and sprint. A year later he was 87th in the individual and 78th in the sprint race in Hochfilzen . This was followed the following year in the junior competitions of the 2001 European Biathlon Championships in Haute-Maurienne . Lavrinovič was 36th of the sprint and thus qualified for the pursuit race, to which he, however, as well as the individual did not start. In Ridnaun he took part again in a Junior World Championship in 2002, where he was 50th in the individual and 62nd in the sprint. Shortly after, he took in Kontiolahti also at the Biathlon European Championships in 2002 in part where he started in the competitions of the juniors. The Lithuanian was 37th in the individual, 40th in sprint and pursuit. Lavrinovič last started in 2003 at the Junior World Championships. He finished the competitions in Kościelisko in 18th place in the individual, 36th in the sprint and 27th in the pursuit. This was followed by the 2003 European Biathlon Championships in Forni Avoltri , where Lavrinovič was 37th in the individual competitions, eighth in the sprint and 15th in the pursuit. With the Junior Summer Biathlon World Championships 2003 in Forni Avoltri, he finished his junior years and was 22nd in the sprint.
Lavrinovič made his debut among the men in the performance area at the 2001 Biathlon World Championships in Pokljuka. The Lithuanian ran in the sprint to 87th place and in the sprint to 91st place. At the start of the 2001/02 season , he also made his debut in Hochfilzen in the biathlon World Cup . In his first race, a sprint, he was 102nd up to the 2003/04 season , further participation in World Cup races followed regularly. Lavrinovič achieved his best result as 63rd of a sprint in 2004 in Ruhpolding . In 2004 he started a second time in the biathlon world championships in Oberhof . In the individual he reached the 78th place and was 80th in the sprint race. After 2004, international missions became rare. As part of the IBU Summer Cup 2010 , he took second place in the sprint in Cēsis in cross-country skiing - summer biathlon behind Ilmārs Bricis and Peter Ridzoň, and then came second in the pursuit race behind Ridzoň.
