Alena Zuchlo

Alena Zuchlo ( Belarusian Алена Цухло , English transcription Alena Tsukhlo, also Russian Елена Цухло - Jelena Zuchlo - Yelena Tsukhlo ; born May 13, 1954 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian marathon runner .

In 1982 she did not finish at the European Athletics Championships in Athens , starting for the Soviet Union . She came second in the Tokyo International Women's Marathon .

In 1984 she finished fifth in the Soviet championship, and in 1985 she won the Vienna Spring Marathon .

In 1987 she drove to the World Athletics Championships in Rome as the Soviet runner -up , where she came in fifth. In Tokyo, she finished seventh that year. The following year she was fifth at the European Cup marathon and at the Soviet championship and seventh at the Chicago marathon . In 1989 a seventh place followed in the Nagoya Marathon .

From 1994 to 1996 she won the Warsaw Marathon three times in a row . In 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2004 she won the Usedom Marathon .
