Alessandro Criscuolo

Alessandro Criscuolo (born July 15, 1937 in Naples ; † March 10, 2020 there ) was an Italian constitutional judge . On November 12, 2014, he was elected President of the Italian Constitutional Court. On February 11, 2016, Criscuolo announced his resignation from the presidency, but not from the constitutional court itself. Paolo Grossi was later elected as his successor .

From 1984 to 1988 he was President of the Associazione nazionale magistrati . 1990–1994 Criscuolo was an elected member of the Supreme Council of Justice and from November 10, 2008 holder of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
