Alessia Arisi
Alessia Arisi (born December 10, 1971 in Parma ) is a former Italian table tennis player from the 1990s. She participated in nine world championships and two Olympic Games .

Alessia Arisi first appeared internationally at the European Youth Championships in 1986, where she only lost to the Hungarian Gabriella Wirth in the final . At the Youth European Championship in 1989 she reached the semi-finals in singles, in doubles with Christina Semenza she won silver.
In 1987, at the age of 16, she was nominated for the first time to participate in a world championship . By 2001 she took part in a total of nine world championships , but never came close to medal ranks. At the Mediterranean Championships she won the doubles competition with Fliura Bulatowa in 1993, she reached the finals in 1993 and 2001 in singles and in 1997 in doubles, also with Fliura Bulatowa. Between 1996 and 2000 she was represented at six European championships , where she reached the semi-finals in mixed with Yang Min in 1998 .
In 1992 and 1996 Alessia Arisi qualified for participation in the Summer Olympics. In 1992 she only competed individually. Here she did not get beyond the qualifying round. She won against Elke Schall and Cheryl Roberts (South Africa), but lost to the Chinese Qiao Hong . In 1996 she was represented in singles and doubles with Laura Negrisoli . In the individual she won the qualification only over Larissa Chouaib (Lebanon), but lost to Chunli Li from New Zealand and Chen Jing from Taiwan . The doubles remained without a win against Chire Koyama / Taeko Todo (Japan), Elke Schall / Nicole Struse (Germany) and Gerdie Keen / Mirjam Kloppenburg (Netherlands).
After 2001, Alessia Arisi no longer appeared in high-performance sports internationally. In 2012 she became senior world champion in the over 40 age group.

Alessia Arisi played for the Italian club TTC Brescia . In 1993 she moved to Germany in the Bundesliga for Spvg Steinhagen , with whom she became German champions at the end of the 1993/94 season. After an interlude in France at Kremlin-Bicetre, she was signed by TSG Dülmen in 1996 . Here the women's team reached second place in the Bundesliga. In the 1997/98 season she was active at Assistance Coesfeld in the 2nd Bundesliga and helped the women's team to move up to the 1st BL.
