Lexx (* 1972 ; bourgeois Alex Storrer) is a Swiss music producer and rapper from Zurich .

biography

Lexx, who was born in Zurich in 1972, began an apprenticeship in the Niederdorf district of Zurich in the early 1990s . In doing so, he began to produce his first hip-hop beats. As a DJ , rapper and short-term member of the Bonafide group , Lexx was able to establish itself more and more in the Zurich hip-hop scene and work with musicians like Gleiszwei . In 1997 he met the Schwamendinger rapper Bligg . Together with Gleiszwei they developed the piece Kein Kampf um de Titel , which could be heard on the sampler Chocolate, Cheese & Sounds . Bligg and Lexx then formed the duo Bligg'n'Lexx and worked with rappers like Spooman and EKR in the years that followed before releasing their first single Schnitzeljagd in 1999.

This was followed by a Bligg'n'Lexx tour, on which the two were accompanied by DJ Cutmando. Their first album Nahdisnah was finally released in 2000 through the music label Coffee . Later the song Du & Ich followed as a second single. In addition to the title track, the song Fini Linie and a remix for the song Tagträumer could be heard on the Maxi . A year later Bligg released his solo album Normal , on which Lexx supported him as a producer and guest rapper. The single Relaxtra , on which Stress was represented in addition to Bligg and Lexx , placed 19 in the Swiss singles chart .

Since there was no further release of Bligg'n'Lexx , Lexx produced pieces of music for artists such as Nox, TAFS , Zora , Spooman or Big Zis in the following years . He also created several beats for Bligg's second album Odyssey , some of them in collaboration with his former partner. Lexx also made numerous guest appearances as a rapper and producer on albums by Tibner97ner , Spooman and Zora. In collaboration with his childhood friend Adrian Weyermann , the piece Basement Rock was created spontaneously . In addition, he began to work more and more on purely instrumental songs, which elements of different musical styles such as dub, reggae, dance and chillout. Lexxodus' debut album Float Downstream was released on February 10, 2003 on the Nation Music label and contained only instrumental music .

On August 28th, 2009 Lexx was back on stage with Bligg after a long time. The reason for the joint appearance was the Bligg & Friends! -Concert in St. Margrethen .
