Alex Webster
Alex Webster (* 25. October 1969 in Akron ) is an American metal - bassist .
Career
At the age of eleven, Webster first taught himself to play the double bass and later took electric bass lessons. Alex Webster gained his first experience with the thrash metal band Beyond Death from Buffalo , New York. There he met Jack Owen, his future bandmate. Together with him he founded the death metal band Cannibal Corpse with Chris Barnes , Bob Rusay and Paul Mazurkiewicz , in which he still plays today.
He also played in 1996 with the Florida death metal band Hate Eternal and with the Alas project . He also has a side project called Blotted Science .
2017, the Swedish were paleontologist Mats E. Eriksson a gigantic, extinct worm from the era of Devon 's name Websteroprion armstrongi based on Alex Webster.
