Alexander Leopoldowitsch Chwylja
Alexander Leopoldovich Chwylja ( Russian Александр Леопольдович Хвыля , born .: Bressem Russian Брессем ; born July 2, jul. / 15. July 1905 greg. In Alexandro-school Tino , yekaterinoslav governorate , Russian Empire , now Rajon Kostiantynivka , Ukraine ; † October 14 1976 in Moscow , RSFSR , USSR ) was a Soviet actor .
Life and accomplishments
Chwylja, whose ancestors came from Sweden, attended the WW Worowski drama school until 1922 and then switched to the Sankowezka Theater , which was founded in the same year . From 1924 to 1941 Chwylja appeared at the Shevchenko Theater in Kharkiv until the German-Soviet War interrupted his career.
Chwylja made his film debut in 1932 in Иван, but it was only after the war that he regularly appeared in listed roles in front of the camera. His filmography includes 95 works. However, Chwylja remained connected to the theater.

Prizes and awards
Chwyla received various awards, such as B. the Stalin Prize 3rd Class (1950) for Konstantin Saslonow and the titles of Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1945) and People's Artist of the RSFSR (1963). He was also holder of the Order of the Red Star (1944).
