Alexander Marchart

Alexander Marchart (born March 28, 1927 ) is an Austrian architect .

Life

Alexander Marchart studied with Franz Schuster at the University of Applied Arts Vienna . He was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus from 1966 until he left in 1975 . Marchart founded the architectural office Marchart, Moebius & Partner in Vienna with Roland Moebius in 1971 , in which the architects Helmut Benesch and Josef Moser were also involved. Marchart, Moebius & Partner received several prestigious commissions for planning public buildings in Austria in the last third of the 20th century. The office was closed at the end of 2000. The partner Helmut Benesch went into business for himself with the architecture office Benesch Architekten . The partner Josef Moser founded the architecture office Moser Architekten with his son Marius Moser .
