Alexei Nikolajewitsch Dudukalo , also Aleksei Dudukalo , ( Russian Алексей Николаевич Дудукало ; born October 6, 1976 in Moscow ) is a Russian automobile racing driver .

Career

Dudukalo began his motorsport career in formula racing in 2000. He finished sixth in the Russian Formula 1600 and twelfth in the Russian Formula 3 . He also took part in an Italian Formula Renault race. In 2002 he finished 16th overall in Formula Russia . In 2004 he competed again in the Russian Formula 1600 and finished the season in third place. In 2006 Dudukalo switched to touring car racing and finished ninth in the Russian Touring Car Championship (RTCC). He also took part in two races of the European Touring Car Cup (ETC Cup).

In 2009 Dudukalo competed in five of the six SEAT León Eurocup race weekends . Starting for Rangoni Motorsport , he finished 18th in the drivers' championship with a fifth place as the best result. He also took part in three races of the Spanish SEAT León Supercopa . In the Racing Championship of Siberia and Far East , he finished 13th that year. In 2010 Dudukalo switched to the Spanish team SUNRED in the SEAT León Eurocup and competed in every race. The racing driver won a race and finished the season in seventh place overall.

In 2011 Dudukalo competed for SUNRED in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and drove a SEAT León 2.0 TDI and a SUNRED SR León 1.6T. At the end of the season he finished 21st overall with two ninth places as the best results. In 2012 Dudukalo completed his second season in the WTCC for the Lukoil Racing Team . At the first race in Monza , Dudukalo made a good impression with fast lap times. However, due to technical problems in the race, it was not enough for points. He finished second on the Slovakiaring and thus achieved his first podium finish. He finished the season in 15th place in the world championship. With 33 to 252 points he was clearly defeated by his teammate Gabriele Tarquini . In 2013 Dudukalo received a WTCC cockpit at LADA Sport . At the first event in Monza, he collided with his teammate during training. Both drivers were uninjured, but both vehicles suffered a total write-off so that LADA was unable to take part in the race. Dudukalo was then replaced by his compatriot Michail Koslowski and was no longer used.

In 2015 Dudukalo competed for the LUKOIL Racing Team supported by Bamboo for an event of the TCR International Series .
