Alf - Memories of Melmac (Original title: ALF: The Animated Series ) is an American animated series that ran from 1987 to 1989 on the US television station NBC . Gordon Shumway aka Alf is the protagonist of the cartoon series.
background
The animated series Alf - Memories of Melmac was developed as a prequel for the television series Alf and shows his original life on his home planet Melmac. Since ALF is an abbreviation for Alien Life Form (German: extraterrestrial life form), he is never called Alf in the entire series, but Gordon, or by his friends Rick and Skip Gordo. Each episode is introduced and ended by the real Alf by reading fan mail in which he answers questions about what his life was like on Melmac.
In Germany only the episode Three Men and a Boat was available as VHS .
Cast and dubbing
The dialogue book as well as the dialogue direction was taken over by Siegfried Rabe , who was already responsible for series such as Alf , The Simpsons and Once Upon a Time ... man .
