Alfred Wahl (born October 7, 1942 in Tragwein in Upper Austria ; † April 9, 2000 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP).

education and profession

After attending compulsory schools and a forestry school , he passed the state examination for forest ranger service in Vienna in 1962 .

He was also a Forstadjunkt at the Austrian Federal Forests in the forest administration Mürzsteg .

Political functions

  • 1970–1988: Member of the municipal council and member of the board of the Mürzsteg municipality
  • 1970–1990: Provincial chairman of the State Foresters' Association of Styria
  • 1973: Councilor of the Styrian Chamber for workers and employees in agriculture and forestry
  • 1978: Chairman of Section VI of the Public Service Union in Styria and member of the federal section management
  • 1981: Central Works Council of the Austrian Federal Forests
  • 1984: Member of the board of the Styrian Chamber of Agriculture
  • 1987: Vice President of the Austrian Chamber of Agricultural Workers
  • 1988: President of the Styrian Chamber of Agriculture in 1988
