As a 16-year-old, Nullmeyer took part in the Nor-Am Cup races from November 2014 and immediately placed in the points. In her first FIS race in the same month she celebrated her first victory. Two months later she became Canadian junior slalom champion. The first podium finish in a Nor-Am race followed in December 2015. At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , she won the silver medal in the giant slalom.
In the 2016/17 season of the Nor-Am Cup, Nullmeyer won six races, plus seven further podium places. So she won the overall ranking ahead of schedule. In the slalom discipline she was so superior that she had more than two and a half times as many points as the runner-up. She also took part in the 2017 World Championships in St. Moritz (27th place in slalom), while she won the gold medal in the team competition and the silver medal in the slalom at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Åre . At the end of October 2017, Nullmeyer tore a cruciate ligament on both knees while training in Austria . As a result, she missed the entire 2017/18 season.
