Alissa Wilms

Alissa Helena Wilms (born January 19, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Alissa Wilms grew up in Berlin as the third of four children and attended the bilingual Berlin International School. In her spare time she dances ballet and flamenco. Musically, she tries her hand at violin and piano. Her younger sister Aradia Wilms is also an actress.

Since 2005 Alissa Wilms took acting lessons, u. a. also workshops with Teresa Harder , Ines Bartholomae u. a. Alissa Wilms has had riding lessons since she was nine and her own dressage horse, which can also be seen in the production of Girls and Horses .

Alissa Wilms has been studying physics at the Technical University of Berlin since 2012. Alissa Wilms works as a journalist and is a member of the German Media Association.

Career

Alissa Wilms starred under the direction of Stephen Daldry in the film adaptation of the bestseller Der Vorleser by Bernhard Schlink alongside Kate Winslet , Ralph Fiennes and Bruno Ganz . Her role was that of "Emily Berg", the sister of the reader.

Directed by Jessica Krummacher, she played in 2009, a. a. with Natja Brunckhorst , in the film Totem . In 2013, Von Mädchen und Pferde was filmed in Schleswig-Holstein under the direction of Monika Treut . The film was shown at the film festivals in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Hamburg, Turin and many more

At Christmas 2014, Wilms could be seen in the ZDF film adaptation of Grimm's fairy tale Sixes Come Through the World , directed by Uwe Janson .
