Aljaksandr Kuschynski (born October 27, 1979 in Orsha ) is a Belarusian cyclist .

Athletic career

Aljaksandr Kuschynski began his career in 2004 with the Italian cycling team Amore e Vita . In his first year he won the Giro d'Abruzzo , a stage of the Tour of Slovenia and the French one-day race Châteauroux Classic de l'Indre . The following year he won the overall ranking of the Boucles de la Mayenne and was the first Belarusian road champion.

From 2006 Kuschynski drove for the Italian Professional Continental Team Ceramica Flaminia . That year he finished second in the Giro del Trentino and won the Oleg Dyachenko Memorial . Since 2007 he started for the ProTeam Liquigas-Bianchi , switched to the Katusha team in 2011, where he started a Tour de France for the first time . In 2015 he switched to the newly founded Belarusian Continental Team Minsk Cycling Club .

In 2008, Aljaksandr Kuschynski started the road race at the Olympic Games in Beijing and finished 72nd.
