Charlotte and Véronique are two students who share an apartment in Paris . They arrange to meet in the Jardin du Luxembourg . Charlotte, who appears first at the meeting point, makes the acquaintance of Patrick, who woos her fiercely and finally persuades her to have a drink with him. You set up a rendezvous for the following day.
As soon as Charlotte has disappeared, Véronique appears and runs into the same Patrick, who also persuades her to have a drink. They arrange to meet for the evening after next. Back in their apartment, the two girls talk lively about their experiences. The following day they watch the same Patrick hugging another woman on the street and getting into a taxi with her.
