The All Saints Church as a former monastery church of the Augustinian Hermits is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Tittmoning in Bavaria.

history

The monastery church was built in 1682/83 as a foundation by the Archbishop of Salzburg Max Gandolf von Kuenburg . The monastery building was built as early as 1681 and is structurally connected to the southern monastery church with two three-story buildings with hipped roof . The organ gallery was built into the church in 1765. In 1806 the monastery was closed. The exterior was renovated in 1974/75. From 1980 to 1983 the interior was renovated in the version from 1683.

architecture

The south-facing church is a spacious hall church with four axes. Behind the sturdy choir arch there is a not retracted rectangular choir . In the tower behind the choir is the two-story sacristy with oratory . The tower is structured on the outside with pilaster strips and ends with an onion and lantern . There is a crypt.

Furnishing

Steinmeyer organ from 1890

The altarpieces in the style of the Salzburg Baroque are kept in the typical black and gold frame. The high altar with four twisted foliage-wreathed columns carries larger-than-life carved figures of Saints Augustine and Monika above the side openings. The altarpiece of All Saints' Day was created in 1686 by the painter Christoph Lederwasch . The left side altar shows the altar sheet of the Foundation of the Augustinian Order , the right side altar shows the altar sheet of St. Nicholas of Tolentino . The choir arch cross is from the construction time. The terracotta figures in the choir of Saints Clara of Montefalco and Rita of Cascia are from the mid-18th century. The pulpit dates from 1756.
