Alois Maria Giani

Alois Maria Giani (born May 25, 1912 in Ober-Ingelheim ; † unknown) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Giani was mainly active as a theater actor. Until 1996 he was a member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble .

In addition, in the 1950s he was part of the ensemble of the cabaret theater Die Kleine Freiheit , alongside Klaus Havenstein , Ursula Herking and Eva-Maria Meineke .

Since the 1950s, Giani has also increasingly worked as an actor in film and television productions. He played in films such as Robert Siodmak's thriller Nachts bei der Teufel haben and Wolfgang Liebeneiner's comedy A Woman for Whole Life as well as numerous television plays such as Eberhard Itzenplitz 's Der Pedell and in the leading role of "Johann Gruhl" in Hans-Dieter Schwarzes' adaptation of Heinrich Böll's end of a business trip . His last film appearance was in Dominik Graf's drama Reise nach Weimar in 1996 .
