Date: Monday February 23, 1931

Route: Winteregg route ; Height difference 160 m.

Participants: 30 named; 20 started; 20 rated;

The slalom competition , which has been postponed several times and ultimately had to be canceled on Sunday, February 22nd due to bad weather and the risk of avalanches, could only be carried out in one round the next day under difficult conditions. Because of this, there was no official " FIS winner" in the slalom. As a result, no combination calculation officially certified by the FIS was carried out.

Each nation was basically allowed to name six skiers in each of the FIS competitions. After the cancellation and, in the end, the event, which was held outside of the FIS , was finally held at extremely short notice, this rule was not applied. One of the reasons was the small number of participants, as some of the FIS participants had already left. The fact that the two Austrians Schroll and Seelos were even fetched back from the train station by informing them that the competition would still take place shows how much the people in charge tried to organize the gate run.

Only in January 2013 did the FIS officially add the result of the slalom competition to the medal balance retrospectively.

For touching or crossing a gate 6 penalty seconds were added. In the table above, these penalty seconds are already included in the end time and are also shown separately.
