Amálie Švábíková (born November 22, 1999 in Kadaň ) is a Czech pole vaulter .

Athletic career

Amálie Švábíková made her debut at an international championship at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2015 in the Georgian capital Tbilisi , where she won the bronze medal with 3.90 m. A year later she won at the inaugural European U18 Championships same place with 4.05 m also the bronze medal. Shortly afterwards she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she finished seventh in the final. In 2017 he took part in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto, Italy , where he jumped 4.05 m and was fifth. She then took part in the World Championships in London , but did not cross any height there in qualifying .

In 2018 she again took part in the U20 World Championships in Tampere , where she won the gold medal with a new personal best of 4.51 m ahead of Lisa Gunnarsson from Sweden . This qualified her for the European Championships in Berlin , where she finished ninth with 4.30 m. The following year she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow and was eliminated there with 4.40 m in qualification. She then won the silver medal behind Swiss Angelica Moser at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with a jump of 4.35 m .

In 2018 and 2020 , Švábíková became Czech champion in outdoor pole vault.
