Amadeo (officially: Municipality of Amadeo ; Filipino : Bayan ng Amadeo ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Cavite .
Amadeo calls itself the "coffee capital of the Philippines".
Amadeo is known for the Pahimis Festival , which acts as a "showcase" for the local coffee industry and usually takes place on the last weekend in February.
Neighboring communities are Silang in the east, Tagaytay City in the south, Indang in the west, Trece Martires City and General Trias in the north.
