Tanza (formerly Sta. Cruz de Malabon ) is a municipality in the Philippine province of Cavite .
In Tanza Emilio Aguinaldo took his oath of office as the first president of the revolutionary government of the Philippines. Tanza is also the hometown of Felipe G. Calderon , the father of the first Filipino constitution .
