Amphoe Chun ( Thai : อำเภอ จุน ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in Phayao Province . Phayao Province is located in the northeastern part of the northern region of Thailand .

geography

Amphoe Chun is located in the north of Phayao Province and borders on Chiang Rai Province.

Clockwise from the east, Chun is bordered by the Amphoe Chiang Kham , Pong and Dok Khamtai of Phayao Province and the Amphoe Pa Daet and Thoeng in Chiang Rai Province .

The main water sources in the county are the Ing and Chun Rivers .

history

Amphoe Chun leads back to an old settlement called Wiang Lo, which was founded around the same time as Phayao .

Thung Ruang Thong (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ทุ่ง รวง ทอง ) consisting of the complete tambon Thung Ruang Thong.
Huai Khao Kam (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ห้วย ข้าว ก่ำ ) consisting of the complete tambon Huai Khao Kam.
Chun (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล จุน ) consisting of the complete Tambon Chun.
Hong Hin (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หงส์ หิน ) consisting of the complete tambon Hong Hin.
Wiang Lo (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เวียง ล อ ) consisting of the complete Tambon Lo.

There are also two " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)
