Amphoe Na Mom ( Thai : อำเภอ นา หม่อม ) is a county ( amphoe - administrative district) in Songkhla Province . The Songkhla Province is located in the southern region of Thailand on the coast to the Gulf of Thailand .

Neighboring districts and areas (clockwise from north): Mueang Songkhla , Chana and Hat Yai . All of the Amphoe are in Songkhla Province.

history

Na Mom was initially a tambon with the name Thung Phra Khian ( ทุ่ง พระ เคียน ) from Hat Yai County . In 1943 it was renamed Na Mom. On April 3, 1981, Na Mom was upgraded to a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) along with three other tambon from Hat Yai . On July 4, 1994, Na Mom got full amphoe status.

Local administration

There are no cities ( thesaban ) in the district. Each of the four tambon is administered by a "tambon administration organization" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
