Amphoe Krasae Sin ( Thai : อำเภอ กระแส สิน ธุ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in the north of the Songkhla Province . The Songkhla Province is located in the southern region of Thailand on the coast to the Gulf of Thailand .

geography

Neighboring districts and areas (clockwise from south): Sathing Phra District in Songkhla Province, Pak Phayun District , Bang Kaeo , Khao Chaison and Mueang Phatthalung in Phatthalung Province, and Ranot District in Songkhla.

The western part of the county is the banks of Thale Luang and Thale Noi , and the northern part of Lake Songkhla .

history

On February 16, 1978, Krasae Sin was initially set up as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) by separating the three tambon Choeng Sae, Ko Yai and Rong from the Amphoe Ranot . On July 4, 1994, Krasae Sin was promoted to Amphoe.

Amphoe Krasae Sin is divided into four subdistricts ( tambon ) , which are further subdivided into 22 village communities ( muban ) .

Local administration

There are two small towns ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the county:

  • Krasae Sin ( เทศบาล ตำบล กระแส สิน ธุ์ ) consists of the entire Tambon Krasae Sin.
  • Choeng Sae ( เทศบาล ตำบล เชิง แส ) consists of the entire tambon Choeng Sae.

The other two tambon Ko Yai and Rong are each administered by a “tambon administration organization” (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
